Motherhood isn’t something you can stage or perfect. It’s felt in the small moments, the way you hold them, the way they reach for you, the quiet parts that often go unnoticed.
I’m Emma, the photographer behind Stone Bird Photography, based in Dayboro and working across the greater Brisbane region and Sunshine Coast. I specialise in natural, low-intervention motherhood photography, capturing maternity, newborn and early family life in a way that feels honest, calm and completely you.
These sessions aren’t about stiff posing or creating something overly polished. I’ll guide you gently where needed, but mostly I give you space to just be with your baby, your body, and this season of life as it is right now.
Whether you’re expecting, newly postpartum, or somewhere in the blur of early motherhood, this is about documenting it in a way that feels real.
