This session was so special! Super secret squirrel style!

Owen contacted me via a friend, so that there was zero chance Rachel would find out, to book a couples session for Rachels birthday as a surprise. Little did Rachel know that Owen would be proposing during the session!

Through Owens friend we set up a queue so that we could set Rachel up in the perfect position, I didn’t actually speak to Owen directly until the actual day of the session haha!

After we warmed up a bit with some fun little prompts I have my couples do to get them comfortable, I took Rachel aside to ‘get some solo shots of her’. I took her down to the water and told her to face out while I get some pics of her, meanwhile Owen was getting in position behind her on one knee and waited for her to turn around.

It was so beautiful and of course she said yes! I let them have a moment together before I came up and congratulated them (trying not to cry because how could you not?!) and then we kept on shooting!
