Laurin + Patrick - elopement
Laurin and Patrick travelled all the way up from Forster, NSW to elope in our beautiful little beach-side town. I was going to make a joke here about if you take the ‘r’ out of Forster, its like it was meant to be… but I’ll be the first to admit, I’m pretty bad at jokes haha
Timing was everything with this elopement! They travelled up on a cruise ship that was docking in Gladstone for a few hours (providing the weather conditions stayed suitable, so all fingers and toes were crossed!) and in those few hours they had to travel the 130kms to 1770, get married and get back to the ship before it left port again!
The weather was perfect! We honestly could not have asked for better, yay! Penelope Millar, our local Celebrant had put together a little grazing platter for after the ceremony and there was champagne and beers waiting for them upon arrival!
Let me tell you, this family is so full of love it would melt your heart! The tenderness and care they have for one another just beams through and their sense of humour and fun was the cherry on top! I was so honoured to be there capturing their special afternoon.
